When will the Evo3d get Ice Cream Sandwich?

The software updates page hasn't been updated in what seems like months.

Heya adizz131,

At this stage there is no ETA on when Ice Cream Sandwich will be available.

Appreciating the frustration with the lack of updates on our Software Updates page It is worth knowing that when such software upgrades are released, there are a few check points before it reaches our mobile phone users, for example:

1. Google release code to Manufacturers;
 

2. Manufacturers tweak code to work harmoniously with applicable Android handsets;
 

3. The code is then forwarded to the Carrier's who stock the handset, who in turn further tweak to ensure it works harmoniously with not only the mobile phone but also the Carrier's services.

I am confident when Ice Cream Sandwich does become available, expected early this year, for the HTC EVO 3D and any other applicable Android Smartphone, we won't be quiet about it, I know I'm keen to check it out myself

Btw just thought i should mention htc have themselves suggested a tentative release schedule of q1 2012 on their facebook page, but obviously telstra cant give any info until they themselves have the software available
