Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

[ Edited ]

We’ll only take orders when we know we have stock available. So once it’s submitted and successfully processed, your order will be sent. Expected delivery timeframes are specified in the confirmation email you’ll receive after submitting your order.

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

Is it possible to pick up our pre-order the day it comes out?

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

Yannick, I pre-ordered a black 32gig iPhone 5. I'm in inner Melbourne.

Apparently, this was the most popular request.....do you expect these phones will be shipped in the first week of availability?

I'd hate to have pre-ordered and still be waiting a week after Sept 21, only to find stocks in the local Telstra shops.

Please refer to your email for expected delivery dates. I got this in my email:

  • This phone has not yet been released and is available for pre-order only. Expected release date is 21 September.

  • Your pre-order will be processed immediately and we'll start delivering orders from 21 September.

  • Once shipped, you should receive your order within 2 business days in metro areas and within 5 business days in regional areas.

  • You will need to show appropriate photo identification at the time of delivery.

  • A customer service representative may contact you regarding any questions we have about your order.

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

I honestly cannot believe we cannot collect in store, it can't be that hard (Optus are offering it!?!) and surely it's easier for Telstra than delivering. The phone is released on a Friday, that means (if there is stock in stores like JB, etc) us loyal Telstra users have to watch others just collect their phone from a shop - angrily waiting for the postman to get it to us by Tuesday (most likely Wednesday) at best!

Please re-think this non-store collection policy!

I'm sure your feedback will be taken into consideration for the next iPhone Release :smileyhappy:

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

Hi Ben,

Yes I read that in my email, but you'll note that is says FROM 21st September. Could be the second week in October!

Never ordered a phone online from Telstra, so I'm not sure whether from means 21st - 22nd or otherwise....

To quote what Yannick has said in another thread:

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

Hi Fenno88

Welcome to Crowd Support

At present there will be no more pre-orders, the best option would be to wait in line on friday to get your hands on an Iphone 5

Here is a link to the Telstra stores that will be opening early, it also contains a list of all other stores that will have stock available on the day but will not be opening early.

Re: Am I guaranteed to receive my order?

Couldn't agree more BarryHoney. I think it's ridiculous that we have to wait that long and be punished for "Pre-Ordering" Surely there are other ways to supply pre-orders, like, hire more couriers or create a pre-order que at telstra stores. There should be no reason to wait........
