Action: failed Status: 5.7.1 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 5.7.1 Relay access denied

Hey guys,

I get a strange email fail:

 

 

Reporting-MTA: dns;blu0-omc2-s19.blu0.hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;BLU0-SMTP210
Arrival-Date: Mon, 23 Apr 2012 04:42:12 -0700

Final-Recipient: rfc822;email@email.com.au
Action: failed
Status: 5.7.1
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 5.7.1 <email@email.com.au>: Relay access denied

This only occurs with certain email addresses and its really really really frustrating.

 

I emailed bigpond@bigpond-mail.custhelp.com but i never got a response so I thought i would try here!

 

And yes, my settings are all good, thx for asking.

The emails fail via Outlook 2003 & 2010, two seperate machines.

Again, it only fails against certain email address, one in particular is a national organisation....

I have emailed from my webmail client and ti seems to work fine.

called 133 933, techo fixed the problem with a server side work around!

Never heard of that email address, wouldn't suggest using it as the webforms that I can assume were connected to it got taken down :smileysad:
