How do we find out if telstra has made our private information avaliable in the latest gaff ????

Can't. Not unless you are close friends with a technician and he does it for you.

My belief is that if your data was on the site (about 60K people) then your BigPond password would have been reset and you would not have been able to login on Saturday evening, requiring you to call up and get a new password set. It could be that they were able to determine what was or wasn't looked at and refine it down a little more than just available but all announcements were that 60,000 accounts were blocked and required password resets. 

 

If your access came back no problems on Saturday afternoon, you're in the clear.
