T-Hub and voicemail

When people ring us our T-Hub tablet, handset and old Telstra don't ring instead the calls are going directly to Voicemail but we don't get any notification on the tablet or handset for a day or so or until we go to make a call ourselves and we hear the different dial tone. We have made 2 calls to the T-Hub help line - one said to extend the ring time before voicemail picks up from 20 secs to 30 totally missing the point that the phones don't ring at all and the other answer was to disconnect the hub from the line splitter, which we thought was something we need to have as we are on ADSL. This is our second T-Hub in just over 12 months - the first was returned after 6 months because the tablet stopped ringing but the handest continued to. Any suggestions as to how we can fix the problem would be appreciated.

I have a couple I could suggest, not sure if it will fix the issue. On the handset go to Settings -> Base Settings (or Base Station) -> Reset to factory. Choose "yes" when it asks if you want to reset it. When it asks for the code it is 0000.

 

Once that completes, remove the power from the base station for 10 seconds and restart the T-Hub. You may also have to factory reset the T-Hub. To do this go to Settings -> Device Reset on the T-Hub and re-run the setup.

I've already done a Device Reset on the T-Hub but not on the Base Station so I'll give it a go as well as removing power from the base station.

Wish I could say that your suggestions worked but no such luck. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
