Got your email “Experience the new look My Account”. Went to log in using the link “my.telstra.com.au/myaccount” and, after entering the User Name and Password, selected the “Log In’ button. Nothing happened!
Then I tried to send a message to CrowdSupport and it told me my login name “Contains one or more invalid characters. This field can contain letters, numbers, and special characters, such as dashes or underscores. Spaces are not permitted.”
Hmmmmm . . . . .somethings not working me thinks!

I just tried it myself using the link you provided above, and logged in with no problem. I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 on Windows 7 here. Which browser are you using?
Departed from CrowdSupport as of 12 June 2013, when the fun factor for me had finally completely evaporated with all the recent site layout and functionality changes, and the apparent efforts to turn a community goodwill-powered vehicle into something closer to a customer service channel.

I'm having issue seeing the front page, but I'm willing to bet thats more related to me using Mountian Lion. I can't seem to replicate the issue you have described however ![]()

peter_downes, I have the same problem when attempting to log in to My Account. I've tried Firefox, IE and Chrome. Symptoms are always the same. Support at 1800 number seems to have no idea - runs around resetting my password when it is obvious that my credentials never get sent to the server due to the poor design/coding of the login page.
I'm sticking with paper billing. I don't trust Telstra's ability to run an online system reliably.

I use https://www.my.telstra.com.au/myaccount/home to access my account, and it works fine for me here.
Can you try clearing cache/cookies, and clicking on the "Log In" button instead of pressing "Enter" on your keyboard (or try it the other way if you do it like this normally).

Ben,
Regrettably your suggestions don't help.
Folks at 1800 number say that this is a known problem but there is no room in the development budget to fix it this year. Apparently a large proportion of My Account users are experiencing the same problem.
The 'fix' is to resume paper billing until things get sorted.
Appalling situation, really.
