Listen live

Answered
Tried to listen live through the app and found there is around a 30 second delay between the play and what is broadcast. Why is this? How can I listen to it actually live, like is broadcast on a normal radio?

Re: Listen live

Hello @Cn14,

Thanks for your message

We do our best to ensure there are no delays, but there is a short delay as the audio is converted into digital form for delivery onto a mobile phone. This can take up to 60 seconds and can also depend on your location as well as network connectivity.

This is a limitation faced by all digital broadcasts. If you are at a match and would like to listen live, the best solution you have

already alluded to, listening on a normal AM/FM radio rather than a digital stream.

Re: Listen live

There is typically a streaming buffer of time between live radio and a live stream. It can be a few seconds up to a minute. Mostly because the way the streams are set up for digital streaming.

You will find this quite common for most radio streams.
