afl live pass I can't cancel

I got the afl live pass free, couldn't watch games cancelled it as it annoyed me. Wanted to watch my games paid for it instead of free version still can't watch games and now can't cancel it and its sucking money outa my credit card account. WTF

Thank you for getting back to us. 

 

Unfortunately, the Telstra Buzz ZTE is not on the list of supported devices for the AFL Live App here: http://www.afl.com.au/livepass/telstra-terms-and-conditions

 

As you subscribed via the website, you will need to log in at afl.com.au/livepass to cancel this subscription.

As per the terms and conditions, live streaming of AFL games is only available via the AFL Live App on a compatible device, but you can access full match replays via the AFL website. 

 

If you're still experiencing issues cancelling your subscription, please let me know.

What device are you trying to watch on, and what is it doing when you try to watch a game? Does it give you an error message?
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

First on my mobile. Error message ,cannot view on external device. On my laptop it said the same I believe or that I wasn't allowed. It had peeved me so was awhile ago

Thank you for your post and my apologies for any issues you're experiencing with AFL Live Pass. 

 

To clarify, if you redeemed the AFL Live Pass free as a Telstra Mobile customer, this offers access to the same content as paid subscriptions. 

 

What device are you using to access the AFL Live App? (mobile/tablet, make/model etc) 

 

How do the charges for AFL Live Pass appear on your bank statement? (it will be one of the below)

Telstra Applications Melbourne = Subscribed via Website
GOOGLE *Telstra CorpGOOGLE.COM = In App subscription via Google Play
APPLE ITUNES STORE SYDNEY = In App Subscription via iTunes

 

This information will assist us in further troubleshooting.

Sorry, meant what model mobile (eg iPhone 8, Samsung S7, etc).
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

If you want to try one last time to get live streaming working on your mobile, you could try the steps in this post:

Unfortunately, live streaming is unavailable through the website due to licensing restrictions.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Yep. Still not able to cancel. I go manage account. Plan cancelled from first time I got it. Now it says Purchased 6/05/2018 yet now where to cancel. Doesnt exist in play store subscriptions. I'm getting very irritated now Smiley Sad

Hi,
I signed up for an AFL live pass, including entering credit card details and then spent the first 90 minutes of the grand final trying and failing to get it to work across multiple devices before giving up and listening to it on radio. Needless to say I'd like to cancel the subscription.

The watchafl site doesn't recognise my login details or email address. I can't see on the Telstra website any way to cancel the subscription, but gathering by everyone else's experience this is not going to stop Telstra from continuing to charge me.
So please cancel the subscription. I'm not prepared to spend any more time on this so if any charge comes through I'm going to dispute the charge and take it to the telecommunications ombudsman.

To clarify - are you talking about WatchAFL or AFL Live Pass?

These are two separate subscription services, and we do not manage the WatchAFL service. 

 

Did you subscribe via the AFL website? (AFL. com.au) 

If so, you should be able to log in with the email address and password you set up upon subscribing. 

 

If you're unable to do this, I can investigate further. I have sent you a private message to request some information.

Same as user above: the app "cancel subscription" option is un responsive and trying to do it from a computer re-directs to the watchafl site, have tried re downloading the app and all common sense trouble shooting. would like to provide my details directly to a customer service rep to cancel for me as ive been trying throughout the last 2 days and feel the app is not going to respond and i will keep being charged (while the season is over) i have an older style phone so perhaps this is the problem, nevertheless would like some help cancelling the purchase today

What is the description that you are seeing next to the charge on your bill?
Is it Telstra Applications Melbourne, or GOOGLE *Telstra CorpGOOGLE.COM?
