Over the last few weeks we have introduced some changes which make using My Account even easier.  From Tuesday 2 July, personal customers will be able register for My Account using their Facebook account.

Once you have registered for My Account (or if you are already registered for My Account), you can link your My Account profile to your Facebook account.  By linking your My Account profile to your Facebook account, you won’t have to remember your My Account username and password in order to use My Account, so long as you remember your Facebook account details.

Linking your My Account profile to Facebook will also install the Telstra 24x7 App for Facebook in your Facebook account, so you will also have the convenience of accessing your Telstra accounts from Facebook. Of course, if you’re happy using your current My Account login, you’re welcome to continue using it. If you do link your My Account profile to Facebook, you can go back to using your own My Account log in at any time.

24/7 stopped working on my computer and despite many efforts from the telstra and nbn team after 3 days it still does not work.  Tried to put it on samsung tablet as well as laptop and still not working.  My brother can access it on his desktop but not on his tablet.  We are both on same internet service which is nbn.

this seemed to have happened about the time nbn was connected.

How hard is It dealing with Telstra !@#$%!!!!!!$#%^&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just upgraded my phone as an existing customer and it all went to hell from there.

1) Promised Delivery on Tues 7/10 after the order a week before

2) Got Delivery a day later Wed 8/10 (understood the delay)

3) Tried to Activate on Wednesday 8/10, here is where all the trouble starts-

Went online and after I entered the phone number it came up with an error  asking me to call to activate. Called the number and they "checked" and advised that the sales person who upgraded my raised a whole new number instead of "recontracting my existing number" ??????????.Then they cancelled my number that I have had for 7-10 years (without permission or explaination) as the "new number was the contracted number" They would "hook my old number to the old one to "fix" it. It would take 24 hours.

24 hrs later .......  still can used the new phone (so much for that new phone feeling) it has been stuck in "provisioning" and they will now have to esclate it to have if "fixed" but will take another 24 hours ????????

No-one will own it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
