UPDATE 27/03/2017 5:14PM: We undertook a planned system upgrade over the weekend. This may have caused some delays today when customers tried to contact us. We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and thank you for your patience.

 

We’re undertaking a system upgrade from 7pm tonight Saturday 25 March to help us deliver a better and faster service for you. During this time there are certain requests we won’t be able to action immediately.

 

You will however be able to access many online services via Telstra.com/upgrade and by using the Telstra 24x7 app.

 

We can still assist you during this time through our stores or contact centres, although they may not be able to action everything straight away.

 

We expect that services will be fully online by the afternoon of Sunday 26 March.

 

Unfortunately you won’t be able to view your call and fixed data usage online during this time – we apologise for the inconvenience. You can however view your mobile data usage through our 24x7 app.

 

You’ll still be able to use your Telstra services, like make and receive calls and texts, and browse the internet as normal.

So how long before Phillipines start answering phone calls again ?? Been on hold for an hour and a half now !!

Hang up now Wombat96. Unfortunately when they answer you they will not be able to access any infomration on your account usage that may help resolve your problem. My mobile data used 7.5 GB of my allowance in about 4 hours and nobody can tell me why or what happened. I'm very annoyed but there is nothing anyone can do to answer my query.

Not much use going into a store they can't do anything, except make you wait and then admit they can't deal with your problem and tell you to ring someone in the phillipines, only to find out they just put you on the end of a very long line.. Patience has well and truly expired. Been with Telstra for a very long time.too long I guess..
