Apple Music subscription

I upgraded my phone/plan today and have since lost my Apple Music subscription. When I go into the ‘manage add on’ link it says it’s not available and to be eligible I need to be a Telstra personal customer on a post paid plan which is what I thought I was. I was asked in store while doing the paperwork if I had Apple Music and I said yes. When I asked via the 24:7 message in the app, I was told that Telstra no longer have anything to do with Apple Music - which is not what the app or the website says so I am confused 😕 can anyone help?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Apple Music subscription

I am getting the same error when I try and add it to any of our mobile services, on different accounts, but I am also showing it as available on the website...

Re: Apple Music subscription

Data streaming is free when on a Telstra account. Other than that, there is no connection between Telstra and Apple any more.

Just log in to Apple Music using your Apple ID and any subscription that you already had set up should continue as per normal.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

My Telstra

Activate Apple Music and get data free streaming with the My Telstra app.
