message bank faulty

Telstra Message bank keeps calling me with an automated call, telling me I have a message and asking to put my PIN in. Is this a scam or just a Telstra fault? I get a text also, telling me to call 101. that's fine, I just don't want the calls.

I have contacted Telstra endlessly but they either won't help, or don't know what the problem is. Usually they hang up.

I called them for nearly 4 hours yesterday. Spoke to half a dozen consultants.
