Accessing account after leaving Telstra

I moved my mobile service from Telstra and now the account has disappeared from the app and my services. I still have Foxtel. Prob is that I’m continuing to be billed. How do I kill the direct debit and get access to my past bills for tax purposes?

Hi Ryan,

 

thanks for the reply. I sorted this out directly with Telstra. Apparently direct debits are per service so it only affected the mobile account.

 

I’ve been told that refunds are automatically processed. What I don’t understand is why direct debits are not finalised automatically when the service is closed.

Sorry to hear that this is still billing since being removed from your account, that is frustrating.

To return any incorrect amounts, and request previous bills for invoicing come through our secure billing chat line here https://www.telstra.com.au/chatnow/landing. 

Also, you can set your direct debit up to be a specific amount (to cover only the Foxtel) instead of it auto-paying the entire balance. For instructions on how to complete this visit https://www.telstra.com.au/setupdirectdebit.
