I've left the country and need to cancel my telstra account

Answered

Hi,

I'm no longer in Australia and I would therefore like to end my connection with Telstra as the phone line is now inactive.  I hope that this is an easy process. Please let me know how to deactivate the sim so that I am no longer charged for Telstra's services.

Thanks,

Joy

Re: I've left the country and need to cancel my telstra account

Hi there, to cancel your service/s from overseas, here are the contact points:

If you are calling from overseas: +61 2 9396 1193 or use the online chat arrangement contact us

NB: If this was a pre-paid sim you really don't need to do anything, as after 6 months it automatically becomes inactive anyway.

I'd also suggest if you can to go back to you post and edit out the number, never a good idea, wether cacelling or not, to have private info on a public forum.
