Pausing mobile services/SIM for 12 months

Answered

I'm moving overseas for 12months and am wondering if we can pause the current post-pay plans for a year without loosing the numbers.

Should be out of contract period by now.

Re: Pausing mobile services/SIM for 12 months

Hi Robert

If you are out of contract, you may be able to move the service to a low $10 plan for the time you are away. You could either then put down a lump sum payment on it and receive bills via email to keep an eye on, or you could also organise a direct debit to keep that number and service active. We regrettably don't have an option to hold/pause the service, but there are ways of keeping the service active to use on your return.

Re: Pausing mobile services/SIM for 12 months

Hi Robert,
Unfortunately telstra don't offer such a service. It's a pity really as Im sure more customers would maintain the registered sim/number (at $10pm) than cancel as none of us can justify laying out all that current monthly coin for nothing.

Cheers,
Dave
