Can someone please tell me what these purchases are?

Obviously something that was clicked on and we were unaware that charges where involved but don't want it to happen again

Third party charges, cant tell you specifically but a contact number for the company should be at the bottom of your most recent Telstra bill to cancel any subscription that you may of signed up for.

ps: If you contact Telstra (132200) you can also request to disable all future third party charges to avoid it happening again in future!
