Hi Crowd Support,
There are a couple of threads here with disappointed BlackBerry users who were hoping to get a taste of BlackBerry's Android based Priv from you. Those who have them love them.
I was wondering if Telstra had plans to bring the much less expensive DTEK50 to Australians this time around? Especially as the device is touted to the Business Fleet crowd, a market Telstra prides itself on having conquered.
Any heads up that I can take back to those who are on the lookout?

At this stage we haven't announced any plans to stock future Blackberry devices, and we don't currently have any in-market Blackberry devices on offer, or have Blackberry as an option on our Stay Informed page: http://tel.st/stayinformed
So at this stage, it doesn't seem likely that it's a device we'll stock, however we only make announcements about a handset when we're ready to take pre-orders or orders, so it's not completely ruled out.

That's a shame, as BlackBerry seem to be one of the few Android vendors committed to issuing timely security updates.
Out of your current Android handset range, which ones are best supported in terms of updates?
Your best bet is to go with the Nexus 5x if you are after timely security patches and software updates. All your data on an N5X is also encrypted by default. There are two more Nexus devices that will hopefully be released in the next 1 or 2 months, hopefully Telstra will offer these as well.
