Broadband Shaping Speeds

From time to time your internet service speed may be slowed, or 'shaped' if you have exceeded your plan's usage allowance.


When this takes place the speed of service will remain at the below speeds depending on the plan you are on:


  • Home Broadband (ADSL, Cable & NBN) are slowed to 256/256 kbps
  • BigPond Mobile Broadband the speeds are slowed to 64/64 kbps


If you do require additional usage please visit our peace of mind commitment where for our ADSL/Cable customers you can get a 'top up' of data three times a year. You are also able to upgrade your plan.
