Trying to run a business and our NBN is down, we have a 4GX USB Pro (backup) but it isn't working. Blue light is on but cannot connect.
Any advice please.

Are you connecting it directly to a PC, or have you plugged it into a modem/router (if so, which model)?
It is connected to a Billion 3G/4G LTE VPN Router. Our accounting system was not compatable with the Netgear router supplied by telstra. Do you believe this could be the issue.
It could be. Unfortunately there's no documentation on which devices are compatible with each other.
Try putting the dongle directly into a PC and see if it connects. If it does, it's either incompatible with the Billion, or the settings on the router need changing.
If you get the same problem, is it a Prepaid? Does it have credit? or was it unused for a period greater than 6 months (the SIM could have been deactivated in that case)?
