General Website Issues

Was investigating getting Telstra Exchange Online and found some issues on the website that should be fixed.

Email storage size Discrepency

1. http://www.telstra.com.au/business-enterprise/cloud-services/applications/exchange-online/

- Scroll down to bottom to Exchange Online (Plan 1)

- Price $4.40/month

- 50GB mailbox

2. http://www.telstra.com.au/office365selectortool/

- Choose 1-10 users, No light access, Yes AD sync.

- Drag the "Email&Calendar" slider to the far right

A new option at the bottom appears:

Microsoft Exchange Online (Plan 1)

- Price $4.40/month

- 25GB mailbox

So is the size for the Microsoft Exchange Online (Plan 1) 25GB or 50gb?

No Customer Terms Link

On the first page listed above, the fine print says "For complete terms and conditions, including our rights to update the service or change the functionality, and the ability for you to change Microsoft Office 365 Services or change licence numbers, see Our Customer Terms"

The "Our Customer Terms" should be a hyperlink, probably to this:  http://www.telstra.com.au/customer-terms/business-government/cloud-services/

Links not working

On the second site I listed above, the "Learn More" link takes you to the general Telstra About Us page which isn't particularly helpful.

It seems to want to goto http://www.telstra.com.au/business-enterprise/enterprise-solutions/cloud-services/software-service/m...

But that is redirected to the about us page.

Perhaps it should change to :

http://www.telstra.com.au/business-enterprise/cloud-services/applications/exchange-online/

My Impressions

On the whole I found the usage of the Telstra Buisness website to be an unpleasant mess full of missing links, incorrect or missing information, clumsy navigation and hard to find terms. Not to mention the mismatched themes

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Hi

As far as the website issues is concerned I can't comment. I can only imagine that keeping a website the size of Telstra's would be a mammoth task.

However as far as your question is concerned the mailbox size is 50GB.

"So is the size for the Microsoft Exchange Online (Plan 1) 25GB or 50gb?

More details can be found on the T-Suite website https://store.t-suite.telstra.com

Go to Email (found under manage my communications), click on "Choose Plan" under Exchange Online Plan 1

The information is also available on the Microsoft website at

http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/exchange/compare-microsoft-exchange-online-plans-FX103764022.aspx

"Large mailboxes: Each user gets 50 GB of mailbox storage and can send messages up to 25 MB in size."

Re: General Website Issues

Well, i think Telstra needs to do a better job in managing it or simplyfy the website as I too have just been looking at Office 365 packages and also see different pricing and information being shown.

Shows $14.95 and was my first look

http://www.telstra.com.au/small-business/cloud-services/office-management/microsoft-office-365/micro...

Shows $13.50

http://www.telstra.com.au/small-business/cloud-services/office-management/microsoft-office-365/#tab-...

On top of that, Microsoft shows a different price $13.86 although delivered by Telstra, and linking from Microsoft to Telstra, I get another page and another price

Shows $12.50

http://www.telstra.com.au/small-business/cloud-services/office-management/microsoft-office-365/micro...
