What to Port Telstra Phone and Duet Numbers to VoIP

I have a BizEssentials ADSL2+ service with a phone number (PSTN) and duet number, all on the same line.  I now have nbn FTTN on my other copper pair (not with Telstra) and wanted to port my 2 phone numbers (phone + duet) to my VoIP provider.  Is it really true that I can't port my duet number under any circumstances?  If I cancel the duet service leaving the ADSL2+ and the telephone service on the line, can I port just the phone number then? [I have no problem if porting the phone number terminates both the ADSL2+ and the phone service because I will want to do this anyway at some point now that I have the nbn service up and running.]

Re: What to Port Telstra Phone and Duet Numbers to VoIP

Hi Rodney. Thanks for coming through. Sorry for the confusion. We have a specific team which handles fax/duet enquiries.

Please call us on 13 22 00 and say, 'Multi Line' at the voice prompts, they'll take a look at your account and run you through your options.
Please let us know how you get on, as I'd like to see this resolved. - Matthew.
