Once you buy online, Telstra should offer an order status page that is attached to your 24x7 account login.This way customers can view where in the provisioning cycle our order is. This will increase NPS and reduce calls to the contact centers.

It isn't linked to MyAccount (which I agree would be a helpful addition, all requests and changes should be noted and viewable in MyAccount in my personal opinion) but they do have a tracker which usually can be used to view orders - http://telstra.com/trackmyorder
