Comming here for some help,
Am looking to setup a Cisco 867 VAE with our NBN VDSL service. Unable to get any help/info from telstra if this device can be used with the telstra DOT Netgear 7610 modem. Either looking to Bridge the Telstra Modem (as advised by telstra techs) or have the modem in DMZ attached to the Cisco.
Ideally would like to ditch the Netgear alltogether. Does anyone have any information with setting up a cisco for the use with DOT and if it can be done?

If you do not require the phone lines on the DOT service you can ditch the Netgear modem.
If those lines are still needed, you can connect the Netgear behind the Cisco modem and the phones will still work.

Thank you for the reply,
yeah will need to keep the phone service as using DOT onsite.
Is there any preffered method of connecting up the Telstra modem behind the cisco? any particular port forwards that is needed,
or do you simply conect the modem as if it was a regular device to the cisco?
