We have Telstra DOT. I am trying to re-setup scan to email on my HP8600. It was working but I changed email addresses so changed it in the prnter and it seems to have lost the outgoing settings.
There are only 3 or 6 questions dependant on one of the answers
Outgoing SMTP - I entered smtp.telstrabusiness.com
Port - I entered 25
Always use secure connection (SSL/TLS) - I did not tick
SMTP server requires authentication for outgoing e-mail messages - I did not tick
If the above is ticked, the additional questions are:
SMTP User ID
When I test I get a message "Server Error" - it gives no clues what the error is.
Anyone help with where I might have gone wrong with the settings

Did you sign up for a new email address with Telstra Business, also do you know if it is a Business Mail Standard or an Advanced account?
Try these settings:
Outgoing: Server: smtp.telstrabusiness.com
Outgoing Mail Server Authentication: Yes (same as incoming log in credentials)'
