$39 Cap Staff plan - is data usage capped?

Answered

I see some plans are eg.

http://www.telstra.com.au/help/download/document/business-critical-information-summary-mbb-member-1g...

Nb there seems to be something a bit odd - my plan on one phone used to have calls and data included but when I added the $10/GB option .. suddenly it's not included in the calls and data cap.

Are there any 'heavy' data plans out there that won't cost hundreds per month for 20-50GB??

(and there is no wifi or Telstra Air access)

If you are on one of the older plans a number of these about 9 months ago maybe now they had a change so that they went up in price but as an exchange they got unlimited calls and sms included instead, so if you are on one of those older plans that might have something to do with it.

You can add data packs to your current mobile plans which will give you a boost in data, they are cheaper than the $10/GB they are here: http://telstra.com/datapacks

But for 20+ GB on a mobile plan you would be looking at the Premium plan, but it is $195 per month

Otherwise you would be looking at Mobile Broadband plans but they are for tablets and mobile modems rather than phones.

Re: $39 Cap Staff plan - is data usage capped?

Thanks. I would go for the larger plan but it's a short term fix needed (no wifi access (or Telstra Air)) for a few months and Telstra is the only mobile service.
