4GX is not WiFi in the purest sense. It is mobile broadband. Wi-Fi is the alternative with ethernet to get internet from your modem to your devices.
The GX in 4GX is the technology using simultaneous multiple frequencies from the network to your phone or mobile b/band modem to increase your speeds
