I have the Home Dashboard installed on my iPhone X. In the "Devices" tab it shows a list of devices connected to my network. Many of these devices are shown as "Unknown". When attempting to identify these devices I am instructed to tap on the pencil icon within the expanded view detail to edit. There are, however, no pencil icons on any of the listed devices apart from my iPhone.
Is there any way to identify these devices in the app in the absence of the pencil icon?

In the Home Dashboard app, once you have clicked on the devices tab you can select one of the devices marked as unknown. On the next screen you should have the pencil icon in the top right hand corner as shown in the image below.

Can anybody else see the pencil icon -I can’t
Neither can I and that was the issue on which I was seeking assistance.

would really like it when this problem is corrected
