Foxtel from Telstra, Foxtel Now, Foxtel Play & the Foxtel App

I have Foxtel with Telstra - half the buttons stopped working on my remote - I went and bought a new replacement remote but the same buttons on the new remote aren’t working either.  Does that mean there is a problem with my Foxtel box??  If so how do I fix the problem???
