Lost free to air channels on foxtel

Hi. We have lost a few channels on foxtel. Two being channel 194 and 207. Rang foxtel and got no help at all. We have put in a new splitter, everything checked out, done a reboot, done a full scan, . They are saying it is the aerial which belongs to them. When we put the new splitter in the channels worked, then last night we lost them again. If it was the aerial we wouldn’t be getting all the other free to air channels on foxtel. You guys were amazing at fixing another problem we had. Hoping you can sort this one out also.

It's odd as the two channels that you mention are on different networks. Are you getting the other Channel 9 and Channel 7 channels?

 

The FTA TV aerial doesn't belong to Foxtel, it is your property. It could be a problem with the aerial if it isn't pointing in the right direction (it would depend on whether the channels that you are missing are broadcast from the same tower).

 

When you rescanned, was it a Terrestrial Channel recan?

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
