Network Contention caused by your device?

Dear Foxtel - thank you for attending and installing iQ as my wife's Christmas present.  I trust you tested your network connectivity from my modem/router to the iQ box - because as far as I can see there isn't any.  Even better, you installed your ethernet over powerline adapter in front of the one I already have serving the front of house and it seems you nuked my network???? Did you  check that?


What are the options for getting this sorted -
