ADSL still not working

This will be email number 5 or 6 to crowd support.  Is there anyone at all in the Telstra organisation who can tell me when my ADSL service postcode 6025 will be fixed?  This is day six moving to day seven now and I am none the wiser today than I was six days ago even though I have asked here numerous times, on your Facebook page and after holding for over 2 hours on your supposed tech support number still no one can give me an answer.

 

Perhaps there is someone who can tell me how I can get out of my Telstra contract (without being penalised) so that I can move my service to Optus as I have just checked with them and they seem to be having no issues in my area.

 

I have also tried the TIO but they are so busy it may take them several days to get back to me (no doubt they are taking calls about Telstra).

 

Yes I have tried your power off, yes I have tried your reset but no I still have no service.  So I will attempt again WHEN WILL SERVICES BE RESTORED AT 6025!

Hey Ally,

So Crowdsupport is for the most part a peer to peer type forum, most of the answer on here come from fellow customers rather than from Telstra staff as it isn't a Telstra contact method.

If you want to disconnect your service your best bet is to contact the specialised disconnection team on 132200 and say "disconnect" between 9am and 9pm (they are based in Adelaide, so that is central time so that is 7:30pm WA time I think) and they will be able to help you with the details of if you can have the contract cancelled without penalty.

The TIO also may just bounce it back to you if you haven't actually lodged an official complaint yet too, as they usually require you to have lodged an official complaint with the ISPs complaints team and have been unable to resolve that before they take on a complaint further.
