Hi it seems that my ADSL2 at home drops out when it rains, it hasn't rained for ages so no problem till now, but lately a few rain storms have come thru and "bingo" the ADSL light on my modem drops out. It does reconnect after a few minutes but it looks like some rain might be getting into the telstra cable somewhere. I will ring telstra tomorrow and see what they say, wish me luck

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: ADSL2+

I agree it's annoying.. but you'll have NBN in the next year as they complete the  changeover. As NBN now own the (Telstra) copper network... a fix may be a struggle
