My home nbn speed was recently slowed down because we exceeded our monthly allowance. When I checked our daily usage, I found 3 days of very high usage, compared to most, eg 36 GB, when normal usage is less than 5 GB. Is it possible this data is being stolen? if so, how can I protect my account?
HI cecil, I appreciate the concern about the usage for those days which has been out of character compared to your usual amounts. If you have concerns about other people possibly accessing your modem via WiFi I'd recommend making a change to the password for the connection as per the instructions at https://tel.st/mlw78.
