Why is it not possible to access nathanstrains.com.au using BP?
With 4G and other networks this is possible BUT not with BP.
Sometimes it is possible to access but then most times this is not possible.
It was suggested this may be due to BPTS. What is this and what can be done.
Was this helpful?
It could be Telstra broadband protect blocking site. Telstra broadband protect can be bypassed by using a custom DNS for both IPv4 and IPv6. This can be done in the latest Telstra modems by logging into the modem, going to Advanced > Local network and selecting a non Telstra DNS from drop down list. Save settings and then reconnect device or reboot modem.
Performed the process as suggested to a non-Telstra DNS.
Result - same as before. Can access all sites bar nathanstrains, com,au
All modellers with Telstra have the same issue, With G4 - no worries as said.
Any other thoughts please?
I tried the putting the IP address of the site (184.108.40.206) in my browser and even that is blocked so changing DNS servers will not solve problem.
It could have something to do with the reverse dns name being different to the URL of the site. https://ipinfo.info/html/ip_checker.php
