Additional Ethernet Cabling and NBN Fibre Install

Answered

Hi ,

Eventually when NBN get around to completing my fibre haul from the street, after spending a few hours on their first appointment digging up my neighbours garden rather than opening the pit 2 meters next to the garden ,something that they promised to come back to complete on the 2nd of Jan, which I'm still waiting to have completed...

I currently have 3 Ethernet ports in my house, 2 ports are located in areas where I would not use them and I want at least one of them relocated to a study, will Telstra be able to assist with the cabling and if yes at what cost ?

Cheers ,

Ruffino

Ruffino,

You will need to get a licenced cabler to do this work.  Most electrical contractors are licenced cablers these days.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
