My broadband is extremely slow I just did the technical checks via telstra says it’s all good but my telstra box has orange light? Even when it’s green it’s slow also is there something a miss because if this is the speed then I’m out cancelling

If you have a Gen 2 modem, and if you are referring to the mobile signal LED, the mobile signal LED can often go from green to orange to indicate the modem is connected to a more distant cell site. An orange LED for signal is more than acceptable. This won't affect speed, which is a different issue.
