From 17 November 2019, your new plan name is the Unlimited Internet Plan and the minimum monthly cost of your new plan will be $90.

 Will I get a higher speed with the new plan. I'm currently on 25

Assuming your line can handle it, you will be on the NBN50 speed tier.

As a general rule, no.

You tend to only get a new modem if you are migrating to the NBN and your existing modem isn't compatible or if your modem develops a fault during the warranty period. 

If you need a new modem, you can order one and pay it off at the rate of $9 per month over 24 months (or $216 upfront).
