Cable Broadband Outage - Ashwood 3147 Victoria

Service has been out for three days, Foxtel too.  Web "services" give no indication of restoration time. How do you find out? There is a very strong protective shield between customers and facts.  Do I get a refund for the extra mobile data I've had to purchase to cover the outage?

There is no estimate of completion time available of it is not shown on outages.telstra.com

 

You can call 133933 and speak to the consultants, they may be able to organise a credit to be applied to your account to cover the extra expense.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
