I have had constant disruption to my cable internet since October 2019. Despite logging 30 or 40 calls, which is pointless as the service never gets restored due to me logging a call, I'd like to know how installation of NBN underground cable impacts on service delivery for existing overhead cable facilities. Is there some known technical issue, or is this just a customer service furphy ?

I have exactly the same problem, also since October 2019. Connection dropouts, phone dropouts, nbn connection box rebooting itself for no apparent reason. Driving me crazy.
