Constant dropouts

Moved house three months ago. FTTN. Getting constant and consistent dropouts. Roughly 90 a day! 1 every 15 minutes! Been calling as often as possible. Raised 2 complaints. Booked 6 nbn technicians and all have said there is nothing wrong with the line and haven’t even com out. Been lied to.. 2 complaints managers have mysteriously “gone on holidays” and never get call backs when promised. So then I have to call and start all over again. What the hell is going on!

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Constant dropouts

It can be very difficult to get an NBN Co technician to attend.

All you can do is keep reporting the issue and hope that they don't just rely on their remote testing.

One thing that you can do, is if you have multiple phone sockets, get them disconnected from the main socket as they can sometimes cause issues with an FTTN connection.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
