Frequent dropouts - Bigpond Cable

We have been suffering from frequent dropouts on our Bigpond Cable service.  The modem lights show that the connection is lost and then it comes back on again about 30 seconds later.  It's a nuisnace when trying to get work done using a browser but it's a real problem when the VOIP phone call dies and you have dial again often having to re-dial multiple times to complete the conversation.


Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am also in St Kilda Rd with cable broadband....no problems with drop outs. I am at #400
