How long does it take to complete NBN (HFC) order for move from Bigpond cable?

Migrating from Telstra Bigpond HFC to the matching Telstra NBN connection. NBN tech was on-site on 5 Sep, Internet connectivity through NBN modem started working pretty much immediately and still works fine.

 

However the Telstra order is still sitting in "In progress" status, and my account shows that I'm still on my original Bigpond plan, which means I can't get the speed boost applied. Smiley Sad

 

What might be causing the delay, and how long does it normally take?

Normally a few business days. Before they can close out the activation, they have to monitor the connection to make sure that it can reach the speeds that it is meant to. 

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
