Answered

Today I got an e-mail that my order was processed. However, it still is in the backup mode now. How can I use my broadband?

Re: How to change backup mode to broadband?

Have you got the grey plug plugged into the grey DSL port and the black plug plugged into the black PSTN port then it looks like everything is connected correctly. Have the cords in tied in a bundle could cause speed issues but the link light should still turn green. It looks like you haven't been connected yet or there is a fault with the link. I would ring Telstra ADSL support.

As long as your modem is plugged into the phone port/cable adapter/nbn ntd, it will switch over to the broadband connection when it detects it is active.

What colour is On Line light? It should turn green when NBN connected.

Re: How to change backup mode to broadband?

If link light is off then your telephone line has not been connected to Node or ADSL port? I am assuming you have a FTTN or ADSL connection is that correct?
