Installing Pin Code to Access Point

Answered

I have purchased 2 new TV's Exactly the same and have new NBN. The one worked when completing set up for WIFI - smart tv. However the other one won't work.

I can not establish why however there is one section that asks that a PIN code supplied by the TV must be installed in the ACCESS POINT - how do you do this?

Any other suggestions of why this may not be working would be great.

Re: Installing Pin Code to Access Point

To change the WPS PIN code in a gateway log in to gateway/modem router using a web browser and go to the Wi-Fi section and look for WPS pin code.

Some gateway such as the F@st5355 don't use a pin code, When pairing TV with these gateways press Pair/WPS button until the Pair/WPS light starts to flash and then select WPS connect on TV. Alternativaly you can connect manualy by selecting the SSID of the gateway and entering the Wi-Fi password (WPA key) which is usualy located on the bottom of the gateway.

Gateway default IP address http://10.0.0.138 or http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1
Gateway default user names and passwords
admin/admin or
admin/password or
admin/blank (no password) or
admin/telstra
