Max Line Rate decreasing over time

Since we were connected to the NBN on 11 July the Maximum Line Rate has decreased from 39.3 Up/90.22 Down to 38.8 Up/79.9 Down.

 

Actual Line Rate is yet to be affected but if this trend continues we're worried that will be decreased as well.

The download noise margin has decreased which is why the difference between download maximum speed and actual download line rate has decreased. This might be due crosstalk from one of your neighbours connections who might have just recently been connected and has a faulty connection.

 

Unless it is causing other problems such as loss of internet there is nothing you can do. If the line rate does fall below 50/20 you could report a fault. It is unlikely that the maximum and actual line rate will decrease to this level.
