Modem light is red

  1. How do I fix the internet, the modem has a red light on and it won’t work.
  2. we have only had this connected for two days and already we can’t use it

Start by going to https://fix.telstra.com and run through the troubleshooting.  If it didn't fix the problem, it will give you a reference number that you can give to the phone consultant (it gives you the correct number as well), so that you can bypass the over the phone troubleshooter (It's quicker this way). 

 

You can run the troubleshooter via your mobile phone. 

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
