NBN PRINTER SET UP

Answered

HI

I have a Epson XP 220 and i had a wireless connection before i switched to the nbn. No since i switched i cannot connect my printer. I have tried to even use the usb cord but that wont work either. My modem is not where my apple mac is located but it is just in the next room. I cannot have them together unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated, as i have been trying for hours.

Re: NBN PRINTER SET UP

The USB ports on most Telstra gateways (Telstra Frontier might be a exception) do not support printers so cannot use USB connection.

To connect printer to gateway using Wi-Fi press the Pair/WPS button on gateway until it begins to flash then press Wi-Fi button on Printer for at least 3 seconds. If printer does not connect to Wi-Fi network log into gateway check that the 2.4G Wi-Fi band is enabled, WPS is enabled and WPS pin is not enabled. If sill can't connect suggest using LAN port on gateway to connect to printer. You can then use WEB interface as per manual to configure Wi-Fi setup manually entering Wi-Fi SSID and  Wi-Fi password key.
