NTD to FTTP

hey all

we have a network termination device (ntd) attached to our wall, and a smart modem gen 2 for the fttp connection.

unsure how to connect the two to get the internet to work? the modem has the blue mobile data light on and sometimes flicks to green but the internet is super slow/just not working.

there’s no WAN or UNI-D port on the NTD box. i found another forum that said to connect the red WAN port on the modem to the LAN1 port on the NTD box but that’s still not working

pls help

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: NTD to FTTP

If you have an FTTP connection the NTD box will look similar to the image below and you need to remove the cover to gain access to the UNI-D1 port.
