No Cable connection!

Answered

Hello community,

I planned to change from Optus to Telstra.

So I've ordered bigpond and last Friday I received my modem.

My optus connection supposed to disconnect today (tuesday) and my new Telstra connection should have been available yesterday (Monday).

However after plugging in modem it tells me: WAN connection is down.

All lights are green an NOT blinking.

What really surprised me was that no technician came in order to connect the Telstra cable.

Does it use the same cable from optus that comes from the street to my house?

What a change... I am already regretting it.

Re: No Cable connection!

Hello, you definitely positively do not use the Optus cable for Telstra cable.

You should ring BigPond customer service or Telstra 24/7 Live Chat   to get this resolved

Re: No Cable connection!

I forgot to mention that I've already contacted tech support 3 times and they told me they will escalate this.

Few hours later I received an email saying "its ready". And guess what... it is not.

Same issue.

I might just go back to optus.
