Lost internet from storm 2 nights ago...Have tried 2 modems and checked for line surge damage and everything is ok. Several people have the same issue in our area.the telstra outage site says no problems in our area???? Customer service on the phone don't seem to be in touch with the obvious server exchange issue in our area.. Please let your customers at least know what is the issue and repair time please telstra.. Thank you
If there isn't an outage showing in your area on our Service Status page - it just means there isn't a widespread issue for the suburb.
There can still be a few people having issues - in those cases it's managed by our Technical Support team individually. Should they be unable to get you online remotely, they'll arrange for a Technician to go out to check your connection in person, and they'll be able to let you know what day and time that'll be done.
Of course if it's determined that its a widespread issue in the area, the Service Status page will be updated to provide information for you.
